The Information Systems Department (PI: Aryya Gangopadhyay, PhD. Co-PIs: Zhiyuan Chen, PhD and George Karabatis, PhD) has received funding from US Department of Education to offer GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) fellowship to qualified PhD students. The fellowship offers an annual stipend of $34,000, tuition waiver, health insurance, and fees.
The requirement for receiving the fellowship includes:
1) the applicant must be a US citizen or permanent resident
2) the applicant must enroll in the department’s PhD program
3) the applicant needs financial support
4) the applicant must study in areas related to cyber security
