Before the semester began, faculty and staff participated in a retreat at the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia, MD. There were presentations highlighting successes of the previous year and going over plans for the next. The team broke out into discussion groups to address graduate and undergraduate topics. After lunch the team broke out into three different groups for team building activities. There were choices of going on a nature hike, identifying trees in the park, and to test the water and stream health of the Middle Patuxent River.
We had an amazing time getting reacquainted with each other and meeting the new faculty and staff.
